Mota grew up in the Canary Islands, in the ‘99 he moved to Madrid to graduate in Visual Communication. After a decade of working as a freelancer and collaborating with different studios, he founded Pleid St. in 2016, an independent creative studio specialized in Design and Moving Picture. His imaginary is at the intersection of synthetic and reality, creating impossible visuals with an organic and special aesthetic.
He collaborates with worldwide clients like Nike, Prada, Converse, Ikea, Seat, Toyota, Perrier, Brugal, Sony AXN, Vodafone, and many others. Mota and Pleid St. have been internationally recognized and published in media including Trendland, Fubiz, Mindsparkle Mag, Neo2, Abduzeedo, Yorokobu, La Monda. His work has been highlighted in the Vimeo Staff Picks and awarded in Laus and Promax. Different events such as Blanc, Brief Festival, Blanc x OFFF, Madrid Design Festival, and Adherente have invited him as a speaker. Mota and Pleid St. are currently based in Madrid, Spain.
