Emmett James has over 28 years of Entertainment Marketing experience under his belt. In his current role as co-founder of SIZE MATTERS, James oversees all of the agencies’ 360 consumer marketing campaigns with his partner Whitney Sullivan. He is responsible for his network clients’ branding, key visuals & all additional marketing initiatives from ideation to implementation.

He has personally launched and creatively supported some of television’s biggest hits including: Why Women Kill, Star Trek: Discovery, Project Runway, Arrested Development, 13 Reasons Why, The Good Wife, Vikings, Bates Motel, Dancing With The Stars, Duck Dynasty, America's Funniest Home Videos, American Idol, Counting Cars and Storage Wars to name a few.


James previously began his career nearly three decades ago at Saatchi & Saatchi in London, jumping in as a copywriter & an art director learning his trade in the high-pressure world of corporate advertising. Discovering his passion was in Entertainment, he followed Saatchi with a stint at Assorted Images designing iconic album cover artwork while working under legendary designers Malcolm Garrett (Duran Duran, Culture Club & Simple Minds) and Jamie Reid (Sex Pistols).

After a year-long stint working at Feref, London’s premiere theatrical marketing firm, James accepted an opportunity to help conceptualize and launch what would become London's biggest post/graphic/production house. LipSync began its humble operations in one room, and with James' help, quickly grew into the Entertainment powerhouse it is today.

Moving to America in the 90s, James set about crafting his American advertising sensibilities creative directing at every top entertainment design house over the years. James has shot international campaigns around the world from Lithuania to the Zahra Desert and grown a reputation as a boundary-pusher who constantly crafts provocative visuals.

PRODUCER
James has also had a career both in front of and behind the camera as an actor and producer in Hollywood. Over his career he had roles in blockbuster films such as PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN and James Cameron’s TITANIC, has voiced the number one video game franchise CALL OF DUTY along with having a recurring role on America’s oldest running soap opera GENERAL HOSPITAL to name a few.

Moving to behind the camera with a desire to tell meaningful underdog stories, Emmett has produced 10 films to date, his most recent being 40 Years of Rocky with Sylvester Stallone. Other highlights include John G Avildsen: KING OF THE UNDERDOGS, a documentary highlighting the unsung Academy Award winning director of Rocky and The Karate kid. A SHOT IN THE DARK an inspirational story of a champion blind wrestler; LIFE AND LARRY BROWN a man who spent 34 years in the penitentiary who found his release through the power of music, STALLONE (Frank That Is), a documentary on the multi talented Grammy award winning artist that knocked Michael Jackson off of the top spot but who still struggles for recognition purely as he’s the younger brother of Sylvester. DENNIS AND LOIS music's biggest and quirkiest superfans, OTHER MUSIC documenting the final days of new york's legendary record store and SIDEMEN: LONG ROAD TO GLORY detailing Muddy Waters and Howlin Wolfs group of extraordinary unsung musicians.
