Chris Wolfgang Mauch is a director, storyboard artist and
animator driven by a love of collaboration and concise, evocative storytelling. Rooted in illustration, he’s worked alongside visionary directors; Darren Aronofsky, Wes Anderson, Neil Burger, Steven Soderberg and Kanye West. Chris’s animated short, Tumbleweed Tango won Best CG Short at Animation Block Party Film Festival and The Audience Award at Tres Court International Film Festival, and is now featured short on Disney.com. He is currently writing and directing an animated film based on Ram Dass’ Be Here Now with long time creative partners Sam Stephens, Michelle L. David and Sabrina Smith and is producing a live-action Survivalist feature set in the Arctic with Greg Takoudes, Daryl Freimark and Steve Rinella.Credits include: Academy Award winning, Black Swan, Fantastic Mr. Fox, Divergent, Limitless, The Fountain and Garden State and recently completed work on Neil Burger’s upcoming Sci fi feature, Voyagers.Chris has just completed his 10th year teaching Narrative
and Filmmaking at his alma mater, School of Visual Arts in NYC as well as his 6th year teaching Buddhist meditation at the Three Jewels NYC.
