ABOUT THE AWARDS:

 Freelancers and independents are like the middle class; everyone talks about helping them, about implementing systems to help them mobilize their careers, but few actually do anything.

 The Bowery Awards is stepping up and making a real, significant impact. It's the first of its kind, and it's a seriously big deal as far as I can tell. 

 I was introduced to the Bowery Awards through my mentor David Sable, former Global CEO of Y&R. After learning more about the Bowery Awards, I just felt like I wanted to be a part of it. It was an opportunity to do something. To help freelancers and independents compete in a meritocracy for legitimate recognition from the biggest names in the creative sphere.

AdVenture Media is a digital agency razor focused on performance. For the layman, that means we help our clients get clients. We help our clients sell their stuff. At profit, at scale. Honestly, it's all we know how to do.

 As a sponsor of the Bowery Awards, AdVenture Media will be donating a dedicated amount of prize money to the winning freelancers / independents in each category, and using that money to run paid advertising campaigns on behalf of the winners.

 Few freelancers have the skills, budget and know-how to profitably advertise their services. It's not a skill they've typically developed. Harder still, paid advertising is ruthlessly competitive. AdVenture Media will use its experience, relationships and data to get the winning freelancers more businesses.

 We felt it was a "prize" that was more than a prize, and I'm incredibly honored that the Bowery Awards is giving our agency the opportunity to be a part of this wonderful event.

THE CAROL H. WILLIAMS ‘TOGETHER FOR BETTER’ AWARD

‘Together For Better’ is a category that accepts work in each category group that promotes unity and diversity. Advertising Hall of Famer Carol H. Williams will be looking at all of the ‘Together For Better’ work and choosing the winner who will receive an engraved Tiffany Bowl. 

GOLD WINNERS

Receive an engraved Bowery Awards trophy (all trophy and shipping costs covered by New York Festivals), as well as, Winners Gallery placement and custom motion graphic laurels for social media. 

SILVER WINNERS

Receive an engraved Bowery Awards trophy (all trophy and shipping costs covered by New York Festivals), as well as, Winners Gallery placement and custom motion graphic laurels for social media. 

BRONZE WINNERS

The Winners Gallery will be shown to our Advertising Awards, Television and Film Awards and Radio Awards entrants and juries who work for some of the top agencies, networks, production companies, etc. 

The Bowery Awards goal is to showcase world class freelancers to industry leading companies and creatives who can hire them.
